Darte Series Gates

Developed and designed in New Zealand, the Darte Series Medium Velocity Trackless (Cantilever) Sliding Gate System has become next in line to the Bullet.
It’s fast operation makes it ideal for high traffic areas where the features of the Bullet Series Gate are not required.

3 Phase Sliding Gate Operators

Where gate usage is low or speed not important sliding gates can operate on single phase or if usage is high on three-phase operators.

The LIFTMASTER LPK5 (3 Phase motor NB: only requires single phase supply) is built for intense conditions where speed of opening & reliability are a priority. Suitable for both cantilevered and bottom track type gates on Industrial Sites, Apartments, Secured Estates, Commercial & High Rise building entries. Sliding gates are most suited to commercial applications as they are more evenly supported than the swing gate. They also slide down a path adjacent to the traffic direction making them easier to protect with safety devices and far less likely to suffer damage from vehicles and other elements.

The 0.55Kw, inverter driven motor is built to withstand the harshest conditions, with an electric brake as standard for positive locking of the gate. The hollow shaft gearbox enables slim-line construction of the gate motor, with a 36:4 ratio providing the torque required to operate gates up to 2 tonne.

The Sliding Gate can be driven safely at higher speeds than a swing gate. Speeds of up to 600mm/second can be achieved safely with sliding gates fitted with speed controllers that allow gates to accelerate & decelerate. If you need gates with higher speeds, you’ll need to look for trackless gates for safety reasons.

Safety features include a sensitive inbuilt adjustable clutch which provides an excellent anti-crushing device, however, photo electric cells and or inductive loop detectors are recommended. Whilst the gate opens quickly, slow closing is provided to prevent accidents. An isolation switch is provided to shutdown the power during maintenance. For additional safety, when the motor is disengaged, an automatic override switch prevents the motor from running.

Single Phase Sliding Gate Operators

All Dor-Gate Access Systems single phase sliding gates are fitted with GiBiDi Pass Series gear motors which feature personalised manual release keys, adjustable mechanical no maintenance clutches, proximity limit switches and irreversible worm gear. Motor windings, clutches and gears are encased in an oil bath housing.
